Scholarium Review

e-GMAT Verbal Scholaranium is very helpful tool to practice and identify you weak/strong points. The quality of questions is pretty good - for all three sections, RC/SC/CR. User has the option to select the level of difficulty -Easy/Medium/Hard. Further, user can opt for a specific topic within the respective section. The best feature is the dashboard since it gives you a holistic picture of your progress in terms of accuracy and average time spent on correct and incorrect question. Every question has a detailed explanation and a separate forum wherein you can clarify further details. This tool is quite handy to identify rough spots.

One of the best question banks to practice

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

e-GMAT Verbal Scholaranium is very useful in order to practice and excel, and at the same time identify you weak areas.
It's divided into 3 sections-RC/SC/CR
Each section is divided into difficulty levels- Easy/Medium/Hard - It helps to know where you stand and how much effort is required.
All topics are covered.
You can take full length tests or customize the test according to the needs - this is very useful in order to test and improve any particular area.
Quizzes are saved and can be given as many times as you want - This can be helpful if you are making same mistakes again then you didn't get the concept and need to go back check that particular section.
Every question has an explanation and if any query can post on forum too.
On dashboard it shows your progress (as a whole and section wise too) and where you stand from accuracy point of view and timing. This can be very useful to have a benchmark to compare your own performance over the period.
In nut shell - must to have for non-natives ( best use with e-GMAT verbal course).

Very structured approach

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I improved my score by 60 points, after I joined the course at E-GMAT. I had a score of 650 earlier and felt like I was not approaching the questions right. Also, I had exhausted the OG and did not know how to proceed.

After I used some online materials freely available, I realized that my mock test score were not improving and a more structured approach was necessary. I then came across e-gmat and decided to join it. The course overall has been designed very thoughtfully and helped me in structuring my thought process. I also exhaustively used the Scholaranium, which I feel has been made very intelligently. It targets all the areas and therefore we can identify our weak areas and work on the. It has been a tool, without which I don't think, I could have possibly cracked GMAT. The focus here lies separately on SC, CR and RC and the unlocking mechanism ensures that a structure and flow is maintained at all times by every student. It also gives in a sense of achievement, when we complete the individual sections.

I strongly recommend the Verbal live prep course in general and the Scholaranium specifically as it helped me a lot and I know that it will help all test takers as well.

Scholaranium has a wide category of questions such as Sentence Correction, Critical Reasoning And Reading Comprehension and under each category it has several sub-categories which further drills it down to the basic fundamentals.
As a non native speaker, I was pretty comfortable with quants but not so much with Verbal. As a student targeting above 700, it is of utmost important to analyze where I need more practice int he verbal section and Scholaranium helped me a lot with it. The Ability test's let's you measure where you currently stand in each of the above sections mentioned. It also displays a pictorial representation of your current progress , helping to identify your weak areas on which you can work upon.

I would recommend Scholaranium as it is a very helpful tool to identify your weak areas and then target them.It is a very good tool for practice and improvement and it did help me a lot in some type of CR and SC questions.

Pin point area of weekness and practice until you master it

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

As recommended by a friend, I signed up for egmat verbal online course which comes with bundled with scholaranium. While the theoretical section is great in itself, it's the scholaranium which really stands apart. Backed with nice analytics and dashboards, it gives you a 360 degree view of your skill level and relative ability in different sub section. Once you know your areas of weakness, you can make the most of different types of quizzes to master a concept until you reach a comfort level in it. Preparing this way is actually the optimal way to go abour your gmat preparations. This is really helpful.

Fine Tune your GMAT Performance

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I got access to Scholaranium with Verbal Online course.
I used e-GMAT Scholaranium to identify my weak areas and work on them. I was able to pin-point the topics to improve on such as "Inference Questions" in RC.
What I really liked about this tool, apart from dashboard, is the "Skill data review" section.
In my opinion, questions are on higher side of difficulty but they are on track with GMAT. It will definitely help you build your stamina, especially the CRs and RCs . Also, solutions are provided in details.
If you want to fine tune your verbal preparation i.e identify and improve weaker areas then you should go for this tool.
I improved my GMAT score from V-24 to V-34

Nice tool to improve time management and get confidence

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

Verbal Scholaranium is the perfect tool to improve the time management in real exam conditions. It explains very nicely the difference between ability and accuracy and this is key to understand how the score algorithm works and helps you to focus your efforts on what really matters during the exam or practice. It is not enough to be brilliant in certain type of questions but you need to master all question types despite of failing certain any hard complex question (it is fair enough).

It is quite important to spend time analyzing why and what you made incorrectly in order to not repeat the same mistakes. Personally I use to commit stupid mistakes when I start feeling tired and lose the concentration. Scholaranium is the perfect tool to measure your strengths and weakenesses.

value for money!

Skill data review- one of the best features of Scholaranium. It pin points the area that you need to work on and areas that are your strength. This really helped me figure out my weakness in SC and CR. Plus the option of creating custom quizzes lets you work on those areas and improve.
Ability - the other good feature of this tool. Its darn close to the real Gmat . I actually got the similar percentile in each section as was predicted in scholaranium.
Takt time- last but no way the least , this feature shows how much time one needs to spend on question to get it correct. Ever since I got to know my take time for each section I used it smartly to approach questions at the end and skip on few and then work on few to avoid getting a lot of questions wrong in a row.
I would highly recommend scholaranium for those who have timing issues. This really helps.

Verbal Scholaranium

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

e-GMAT Scholaranium has been really helpful to me for my GMAT exam preparations. The practice in scholaranium gears up an individual to face the exam by providing GMAT like questions. The Scholaranium bridges the gap between concepts and their application to GMAT like test questions. The filter to select the type of questions for practice helps in focusing to improve on weaker areas. The assessment of skill level – accuracy and ability provides a track of the performance by keeping a check on the current level and the target. Scholaranium in nutshell is the ultimate tool for practicing of GMAT like questions.
