I used Target Test Prep as my primary resource to study for the quantitive section of the GMAT and found it extremely useful.
Prior to TTP I was struggling to structure and pace my GMAT studying. After reading the reviews for TTP I tried it and have no regrets. The course is intuitive and offers a wealth of realistic practice problems to learn and review the concepts from the lessons. Some of the questions can be repetitive (especially in the later, more difficult tests), but they do a good job of reinforcing the concepts that the lessons highlight.
I did not use TTP for verbal so I cannot comment on that portion of the course.
I started with TTP after my first GMAT attempt, a 670 Q44 V38. I was about 2.5 months of intense studying in and had reached a plateau at Q43/44, a level I was stuck on for about a month. I was rigorously studying, did plenty of exercises, studied the explanations, kept a detailed error log, tried to learn how to triage to know which questions to let go, but it did not help.
After my exam I sat down and researched different courses on GMAT CLUB. Seeing the amazing reviews of TTP I decided to sign up.
I did not do the accelerated learning path but started fresh. Instead, after each chapter, I did about 35-50% of the exercises and then moved on. After about 3 weeks I finished the course and then did 2 more weeks of running through the difficult sections again and doing practice sets with only Medium and Hard questions I did not see before (note I took a week off from work).
I retook the GMAT and scored a 720 with a Q47. Even though I improved significantly, I was disappointed since I was consistently scoring Q49 in my official GMAC practice test. Anyway this score did get me in in one of the top schools so I decided to let it go :-)
TTP is so incredibly good because the GMAT is not just about knowing the formulas, but about knowing the formulas from left to right, right to left, top to bottom, etc. Furthermore you need to be able to combine formulas from different sections and again know all the cases. TTP goes in depth and teaches you each and every link/shortcut there is to know.
With TTP solving most of the problems became a routine allowing to solve accurate and fast. For the first time was able to complete the test without having to skip questions because I was behind on time. Instead, I was ahead of the clock the whole exam and even spent about 4 minutes on a difficult problem. To me this was a huge difference since prior I always had to let go of certain questions but doing so is incredibly difficult imo. Some tough looking questions turn out to be easy after spending 60-90 seconds on them (finding the shortcut) while some easy looking questions turn out to be time consuming because of lengthy and many math steps.
TTP took away the distraction of having to worry about the clock and instead allowed me to focus all my attention on the actual problems for 62 minutes straight. It's an incredible course.
Absolutely incredible platform! I was already fairly strong in Quant, but wanted to brush up my skills and ensure that I would achieve 49+. Walked through each essential GMAT skill for Quant and boosted my confidence. The Verbal beta really pushed my abilities to the next level and allowed me to break that 700 barrier. Would recommend to anyone for both Verbal and Quant! The platform allowed me to fully understand and be confident in each of the sections as well as provide plenty of practice problems. Scott and the team really put students who are actively taking the course to succeed on the GMAT.

700 Q48 V38 (Online)
Hi,
Starting with only 520, I improved my score to 700 (GMAT Online). Studying with Target Test Prep was the best decision I made during the prep!
Initially, I was using the MGMAT books that I got from a friend, but the score did not improve much after a few weeks of studying. So, I decided to look for an alternative way of studying. Luckily, Marty Murray, whom I found on the internet, referred me to Target Test Prep.
I enjoyed studying with TTP because it was keeping me engaged through the course. That I could see my score improving gradually was rather motivating.
The material is very thorough and the grind is not tiring at all. It is impressive how the material builds up block by block, eventually increasing the difficulty.
I highly appreciate the time the TTP stuff took to answer my many questions. I also appreciated a lot of material on different GMAT strategies, such as the GMAT time management strategy.
I will definitely recommend Target Test Prep to all my friends. I really enjoyed the tranquil self-studying.
Thank you Scott, Marty, Jeff, Amaury, and Rafael. You guys are the best!
Honestly, I knew that I was quite strong in the quant section in GMAT as I have just graduated from an engineering course in college. However, I felt that I needed a comprehensive quant course which TTP, I feel, have fulfilled completely as one. The content materials are strategically organised and methodical in their instruction. In overall, I feel that this course has made me confident, especially in the data sufficiency section where I was weak in. One limitation I feel is that TTP questions are not sufficient in preparing you for the GMAT and one should complete OG questions as well to get a feel for GMAC style of questions.
After taking the GMAT three times over the course of a year and having the highest score in the low 600s, I was extremely disappointed and defeated. I had read great reviews about TTP and after a friend's recommendation, I decided to sign up for the $1 trial. And I was sold. TTP superbly breaks down its program into modules of material you will see on the test, provides you with so many tips and tricks to solve problems, and most importantly gives a plethora of easy to hard problems for you to drill a certain topic until you are a pro. I made a game time decision to take the online version of the GMAT with two weeks to study. Each day, I used TTP for 2-4 hours, didn't even make it through every module, but still learned so many new concepts and created my own custom tests. During the actual test, I was nervous because I felt somewhat confident about the problems (weird, right?!) I ended up scoring 710 (Q47 V41). I can't even describe how amazing seeing the score was and I would not have been able to achieve that without TTP.
I used the original guide for my first attempt after a couple weeks study focusing mainly on verbal. I am an engineering graduate, so I thought I would be fine with the quant. I scored a Q40 which really brought my score down. I used TTP prep for my second attempt and not only was it a fantastic learning tool, it was also a great study guide. The format of the program makes it easy to tell how far along you are and how you are grasping the concepts. The beta version of Verbal was also made available during my 2.5 months of study and I found that really helped improve my verbal score. I highly recommend TTP and at the very least use the 5 day free trial.
I took the GMAT back in February and scored a 710 (47Q/42V). I felt good with this score, especially since it was my first time sitting for the exam, but I knew I needed something to push me over the edge to get a top score. Target Test Prep was exactly what I was looking for. Their quant program helped me score a 50Q when I took the test for a second time on July 1st. The chapter tests will make you comfortable with all the subjects on the GMAT. My confidence grew as I moved through the course, and when I took the test again I felt very relaxed as I recognized the problem types thrown at me. I ended up scoring a 760 overall with a 50Q and 44V. The new verbal section is still in Beta mode, but looks to be just as top notch as the TTP Quant program. I would recommend TTP to anyone who is looking to score over 700 on the GMAT.

TTP is truly the only resource you'll need to crush the quant section of the GMAT! I utilized their resources for two months, just doing practice questions in different categories until I felt like I had mastered each section. Their questions are very reflective of the actual GMAT, and they have wonderful breakdowns of each question so you can see why/how you got the question wrong so you can correct it next time. In addition, they are continuing to build out their verbal resources, and the critical reasoning resources they have already built were a huge boost for me in the days leading up to the exam. After two months of dedicated practice with TTP, I was able to score a 770! 49Q 47V, so excited and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about taking the GMAT!!!
I am an international (eastern European) student and I've used TTP for the entirety of my GMAT prep (3 months from 620 practice to 760 official). I can tell you that this quantum leap would not be possible without TTP.
The greatest thing about TTP is how it makes studying for GMAT enjoyable. Going through the study plan that the program offers you feel the need to break you accuracy scores, to learn a new trick or method and to work through every difficulty offered. Nothing is more gratifying than hitting your target during studying and TTP makes sure to notice that and motivate you further.
While the Quant course is entirely complete and perfect, the Verbal has been introduced recently and is still under development. Nevertheless the CR part is very comprehensive and the SC is just enough for a non-native to get the grasp of the GMAT issues. The only thing lacking from verbal at the moment is the vast amount of practice questions that are there for Quant.
All in all - TTP is an amazing course, which will change you from a GMAT n00b into a GMAT Rock Star and as soon as you start using it, you'll know why.
Highly recommend!
