Since I am a current e-gmat student, the below are the experiences.
Have used egmat-SC course and I am impressed by their approach. They use a bricks to wall approach, concentrating on the basic SC structure.
They have plenty of SC questions also to check your accuracy. Definitely worth trying out their free section seriously and if you are impressed, you can subscribe to the full course.
Even the CR and RC courses are also very good. In CR they provide a very easy method to answer the questions and the way to approach RC passages is also very nice.
Firstly I did not want to take a quant course at all. But these guys had SCORE GUARANTEE even for people with Q 48. That intrigued me to take up their quant course. At first it seems as thought it would be if no use. But the way the concepts are arranged is structured and I could learn new stuffs in every concept file. And the practice questions later to cement the concepts. I am almost complete with this course now I am scoring Q50 even in manhattan tests which is considered a little more difficult than the original GMAT. I am still working on my negatives now. These guys are just awesome.
I am an average student with a good quant and bad verbal skills. I took my GMAT on Oct 8th last year and scored Q48 V19. I was weak in verbal. I knew about EGMAT earlier but did not have enough time to buy their course and complete it within my exam. But now that I have enough time it is the best investment I have ever made.
SC -- They have set of rules that if followed whatever be the question you will be able to get it right. Every concept and practice questions are structured in a way to make sure we remember all the concepts by DOING.
CR – Pre thinking and the methodology explained in the concept files are awesome. Practising those files will have us involuntarily apply their methodology.
RC – It is my weakest zone. They have methods that stresses on the understanding of the passage and strategy for specific question types.
I highly recommend this course to everyone :)
I had joined Maths Classes, but their were certain concepts and fundamentals which weren't clear, after reading the reviews online for the E-GMAT Course, I attended their Trail Batch and took up the Free trail Course, I found the course very helpful and easy to understand. Therefore, I took e-GMAT's Quant Live Prep and am very satisfied with their Content and Method of Teaching. It has really helped me improve my quant section.
The explanation provided is in very simple language and they have enough practice questions/Quiz to improve the concepts.
Now I feel more confident. TY e-GMAT cheers :)
i am writing this review as a student still preparing for the GMAT. I came across egmat a few months ago after taking the GMAT twice and managing 680 & 670. Needless to point out, the extra nudge was missing due to my performance in verbal. I scored 48 ad 50 in Quants but not good at all in verbal.(32 & 29)
The verbal online course provides a very good structural approach to the verbal side of the exam which is very important when someone comes back home from work and sits down to put in that little time that can be managed. All the topics are beautifully listed in a very segmented fashion so reviewing what you have learnt becomes so much the simpler.
Each topic comes with it's own set of tests so that helps, once again, with the reviewing part. I plan to take the GMAT once again in a few weeks' time, so hopefully I'll be able to come back and post that better score here.
I just started taking this course and have already gained confidence in solving CR and SC questions. I see a drastic improvement in my approach to attack these questions and the logical way taught in e-GMAT SC is beyond comparison in my view. The course enables you to systematically handle these questions, which is more like what you do for any logical problem rather than just memorizing set of rules. The biggest advantage is the focus on step by step process for cracking down a complex problem, which makes your job easier. I recommend this course to everyone. All the best!
I registered for the e-gmat course in December'14 after completing the GMAT in Dec'14. I was not happy with my score, and decided to sign up. Prior to this, I went with the different course. I see a difference between e-gmat and Others. Personally, I feel that e-gmat is more detailed in teaching both Quant and Verbal. It teaches you the application, not just the rules. I can't comment on Word problems yet, as I just missed the session on word problems. The live sessions are great. Payal does a great job answering questions and going through the content. I am glad I found the course. I'm already seeing an improvement in my verbal accuracy. Thanks to e-gmat! My next GMAT exam is four weeks away, I'll continue to spend time going through their content!
The course is very well structured and makes you think logically even while reading the question.
I am still preparing for the exam, and can already see consuming lesser time in even understanding the question.
Number properties approach is all-together explained in so simple and basic format that it has started to look like a piece of cake.
I Found it really very useful. It was regular like the Princeton courses. I wish i get a more practice questions not only from official guide but from other books too. I have practised the Official guide twice, so i am aware of the answers well.
Overall, other the above suggestion, i am able to get completely thorough with the course. The Sentence correction section was very simple and understanding. The Reading Comphrension was understanding but expected more analysis on it. The most interesting to me is the critical reasoning section. I really had interesting topics while going through the section. As told earlier, the practice questions are from the same official guide which i have already practised a couple of times.
Dear All,
I have used the services of eGMAT through their Verbal Live Prep Program. Verbal Live Prep Program is one of the world's most comprehensive prep program for the GMAT prep.
Before taking the Verbal Live Prep Program, I had written the GMAT once. Now, looking back to how prepared or rather under-prepared I was to tackle the Verbal Section of the GMAT, I am not surprised that I had not prepared well for my first attempt.
Specifically, the Verbal Live Prep Program focuses on building strong concepts or fundamentals in the beginning of the course. The regular webinars encourage one to practice well and to overcome conceptual challenges that one may be facing. There is a strong focus on following the eGMAT process, which is the key to scoring high on the actual GMAT.
The latest product, Scholaranium is going to be the game changer for the test prep industry. Rajat's focus on assessing one's ability pays rich dividends when it comes to focusing on specific areas of improvement.
Overall, the Verbal Live Prep Program is highly recommended.
I took up E-GMAT live prep as suggested by my friend who had opted it before and succeeded to score 720 on GMAT. I registered the course in september 2014. Since then it has been a great help to boost my confidence in GMAT. The live sessions and interaction with the lecturers has been of great aid!!
The section-wise videos provide a deep insight if how to tackle a question and will provide suitable techniques to solve the questions. The lectures, which are conducted by professionals go hand in hand with the section-wise tutorials and give a complete explanation to all the concepts.
I will suggest e-gmat live prep to those who have an zeal to improve their GMAT english scores drastically.
