5 Stars for Taniel & Veritas Prep team, 3 for my school specialist

About Taniel:

I had an absolutely amazing time working with Taniel, and he is the most responsible and caring advisor that I have ever worked with. It's amazing how much time he devotes to my application given all his other commitments. He always provides very high-quality and timely feedback, and he is highly responsive even when he is traveling on a different continent! I cannot remember a single time when he doesn't respond within 24 hours. And when I am confused about his feedback, he is always willing to hop on the phone to make clarifications.

He is clearly very experienced with the b-school process and has unique insights into the program I was applying to. I think the best thing about Taniel is that he doesn't just say something is not right, but he discusses with me and helps me figure out what is right and how I can improve. During this process, I always feel like I am in good hands and it's amazing to see how my application has evolved!

B-school application can be stressful, but Taniel always checks in to see how I feel about this process and gives me a lot of encouragement. He respects my schedule and never rushes me, and I can always work in a pace that I feel comfortable with.

Although I didn't end up getting into the program I was applying to, I thoroughly enjoyed working with Taniel. I can't imagine working with a better school consultant and I would recommend him to my friends without any reservation!

Veritas Prep Team:

Veritas Prep has a very professional client service team. They always reply to my inquiries in a very timely and professional manner. Once I had some technical difficulties accessing some of the gmat prep materials online, and they gave me all the practice tests for free!

School Specialist:

I am very sorry to say that my interaction with my school specialist was below my expectations. I did my first strategy call with her only two weeks before the application deadline, and that was after I reached out to Veritas Prep team myself. She offered some very good advice on campus visits and recommendation strategies , but unfortunately they were no longer helpful at such a late stage of the application process. From the school package description online, I thought school specialist would be pretty involved in my application, but our interaction was limited to a 45 minute strategy call and one essay edit. I was turned down when I asked for additional essay feedback because she said it would be unfair to other clients. Apparently school specialists are only expected to make a 1 hour strategy call, one essay edit and one mock interview for each client. Maybe this was my bad, but from reading the package descriptions online, I had no idea that the help from school specialist would be so tangential.

Veritas Prep Consulting - 10/10 for Taniel Chan!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I initially used VP for GMAT prep and had a good experience so I went back to them for hourly admissions consulting services. After screening my background, interests and goals, VP paired me with Taniel Chan.

Taniel was a huge help throughout my entire application process. He was highly responsive when I needed his guidance and always provided insightful comments to help me stand out from the crowd. His personal experience of the application process was extremely useful.

I have a hectic work schedule and without Taniel's guidance on my application personal story and strategy, my acceptance to a top school would have been significantly harder.

If I had to do it over again, I would absolutely pick Taniel Chan. I would highly recommend his help and VP for anyone considering personalized consulting services.

Very helpful !!

Taniel was very helpful during the entire process. He provided a framework for me to develop my essay and engaged with me constantly to fine-tune my narrative. With extremely quick turnover times, he was able to proofread my essays and provide valuable feedback across all aspects of the application.

When i started off thinking about the essays, I was all over the place due to the open ended nature of the questions. But Taniel did extensive brainstorming sessions with me to go over all my anecdotes and my career goals.

I have not received any notifications yet, but I am very happy with my overall application. Taniel and Veritas Prep did a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend them.

Outstanding Experience - Taniel Chan

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

My experience with Veritas and Taniel as my consultant was nothing short of excellent.

I am the kind of person that likes to push things to their limit, so here I was 4 months before Round 3 deadline, having to take a GMAT and write my application. My work philosophy has always been to surround myself with smarter people, and that's exactly what I got from Veritas.

Taniel was reliable, fast to respond to any questions or concerns, proactive and well organised. He has drafted a comprehensive timeline of events, and offered all the help and feedback needed along the way to really share my story in a compelling and engaging way.

What I appreciate most about him is his ability to listen and truly understand my background, goals, and dreams, and help me turn dull facts into a story-like narrative. Instead of rushing through a checklist, his patience and systematic approach has lead to an application I was proud to submit.

With Taniel I never felt rushed by a timer, no matter if it was a Sunday morning, or he was going through a flu, he went above and beyond to make sure I'm successful. For his hard work, passion for helping others, and openness, he deserves my highest recommendation.

Very useful

I have decided to work with Veritas as, with my aspirations to apply to the best business schools in the world, I wanted to the best help there is.
I have gone for a school package to combine GMAT tutoring and Admissions Consulting. Tutoring was very good! Although Veritas is based in San Francisco and I am based in London they put me together with a great tutor close to me.
The Admissions Consulting part was great as well. I was fairly short on time, so many of the exceptional offerings of Veritas in their Admissions Consultancy packages have been skipped. I commend them for their great flexibility and availability to still get three great applications out!
