Like many of you – I was a victim of inconsistent scores in the verbal section. My scores were hovering around the 31-35 level, and while my accuracy increased in one sub-section (say RC) – the accuracy of the other sub sections took a knock on effect. After a disappointing verbal score in my first GMAT – I decided it’s time to take on a more fundamental approach. So after reading a few reviews on e-gmat , I decided to take a plunge and after completing the course I can say that this decision has helped me improve my accuracy and subsequently scores greatly. Started my EGMAT course after several failures. Cmae to know about EGmat through GMAT Club and even with some good reviews thought to give a try. As an engineering background I am strong at Quant but my verbal score was too low in my previous attempts and had lost hope to join a good MBA school. But now after preparing with EGMAT I am able to score well in my mocks with verbal 32 currently. Hopefully prior my test I will still improve my verbal score to 37-39. For me eGMAT gave a hope that I can improve my verbal. I did not understand why I was not able to improve my verbal, but after going through the eGMAT 3 step process, my accuracy in SC improved a lot. Also the pre-thinking in CR improved my accuracy in CR from 60 to 80%. From my point of view, it is more important to learn the core skills than focusing on practice. This is what is exactly taught in eGMAT. I am planning to take Quant live prep as well since they offer guarantee on GMAT score. I am looking forward for my real GMAT test and I am sure eGMAT gives me a chance to reach my target score.

I've enjoyed the Verbal Live course with e-GMAT so far. The Graphical User Interface is a really powerful medium in helping a student understand and retain the concepts learnt. I found Verbal Live advantageous in that the weekly Adobe meetings induced fruitful discussions and the effect of the structured approach (3-step process in CR / SC) that instructors recommend can be visualized in real-time.

I found e-GMAT instructors / admin really helpful. They have reached out to me on time whenever I had queries and were kind enough to even extend my subscription by a month as I had to push my GMAT exam due to unforeseen circumstances. Kudos to the course materials and the initiative as a whole!

It's a good start for those who want to brush up their concepts and also for those who want to improve their score by 3-4 points after reaching 42-44 zone. Each chapter is content wise good,but some chapters such as Set Theory, Permutations and Combinations may be improved,as theses chapters have concentrated too much on very basic concepts. But, sometimes when you reach above a certain level,you tend to get more difficult problems from these areas. You also need to be really well prepared with the theory,before attempting the Quant live sessions and it keeps you on your toes. Overall, a very good course to get your confidence back in the Quant section.

I am E-Gmat Quant prep student since Aug - 14 and i am extremely satisfied with the contents. It covers all the topics required to excel GMAT Quant section.

I think, best part of this course, is that it does not over burden with unnecessary information. It contains only those concepts that are sufficient to master the topic. Pre assessment and post assessment test clearly test your understanding about the concept.

Entire course is divided into various section, which makes it easier to understand and analyse the pattern in which GMAC can frame a question, using various concept pertaining to particular section.

I came across E-gmat on Gmatclub forum in 2012 and joined the course considering my score in mid 20's.
I was not a believer in technology and preferred Face to Face interaction but E-gmat and other online platforms have changed that.
The SC course starts with very basic things in Grammar and then builds on that. Ultimately it leads you to the thing that matters most in success in SC and that is meaning over grammar. The course is ideally suited for anyone starting with SC or has found other courses bit too theoretical.

I did not use RC course to that extent as for me it was too make too many changes to the way I have studied. This course can be made bit more crispier

CR was again a refreshing change considering in those time or before that a lot more focus was on theory. The course is a good starting point again for any one new to CR.

I have been able to increase my score in mocks to mid-30's from MGMAT,Veritaspreps and GMAC tests. However, overall I have improved 4 points on verbal in actual exam but I think there are other factors at work and course is not at fault.

Some of the posts from e-gmat on GMATCLUB and appreciation those posts have received are strong testimony to great offering and value for money..

I have asked for at least 2 extensions on the course access and I have been give the same as per my request.

Some key things:
Stick to timeline of the course. No matter how busy you need to give the exam in max 6 months time depending upon where you start
Attend webinar and free sessions before you decide to join the course.
Any course is as good as you want it to be.If you demand you will get, If you work hard and be disciplined then you will get all the support you need from the team.

I think for non-native speakers it is the best verbal course.In my opinion SC plays a vital role in GMAT exam because verbal is the last session which everyone would be attempting and till you reach the last session,most of us will be drained out and SC will be very helpful in getting good score with less effort. Also, you have to solve SC in short time so that you can give more time to CR and RC.
Egmat SC and CR strategy is the best I can say.You can feel it by registering its demo session free of cost. I would say it need some improvement in RC sessions ,may be giving more ways to enhance the speed and excercise on dense RC.

At the very first, I want to say that my story is not about a dazzling magic number, 700, in GMAT but about making confidence that is enough to pursue the desired score. My story is for those students who dare enough to take the GMAT book but cannot continue preparation because the verbal section seems unfathomable.
I am an average non-native business student. I was very good at subjects in business, but English was my most fearsome enemy. Although I was extremely weak in English, I had a dream to take GMAT test and to complete master at an American university, but my dream almost came to its death within few weeks. From the beginning of preparation, I started preparing with MGMAT books and getting some concepts, but I could not understand anything when I wanted to solve the questions. I am not saying that MGMAT is bad for non-native; it just did not work out for me. I continued this way few days but the performance demoralized me. I told myself that boy everybody cannot catch his/her dream! just let it go. Million thanks to e-GMAT because at that time I got a mail from it and tried the free trail course and found it extremely helpful. Some ideas such as Verb+ ing modifier (Participle modifier) became so clear that the topic seemed a piece of cake for me. I really got the confidence needed to carry on my preparation. I bought Verbal live prep within a week and started my preparation with a new hope.
I took the test and scored 27 in verbal. I know my score is nothing to tell but something for students like me. I strongly believe that I could have scored more than 27, but I had some strategic problems and could not utilize the course perfectly. I mostly focused on SC and could not take care of CR & RC as I should have. I have decided to take the GMAT again; I will correct my mistakes I made before and utilize the course this time properly.

At last, if you think that GMAT is not for you just because of difficult verbal section, I must say you are wrong. At first, Try e-GMAT free trail and you will get the same feelings that I got.
