Product Experts' Global MBA Interview Preparation
Consultant Experts' Global Apps Team
I pursued Admissions consulting with Experts’ Global and as they offer support for every part of the admissions process,
this included interview preparation.
Just like the rest of Experts’ Global’s
offerings, the interview preparation is very systematic
and is conducted by a
thoroughly professional mentor. The prep takes place over three stages, watching instructional videos on proper MBA
interviewing, answering the most common interview questions,
on questionnaire, and then finally going through
multiple mock interviews.
My interview mentor, who conducted the mocks, was very straightforward in pointing out
where I needed improvement, every mock interview was followed by a very detailed feedback sess
ion. This process,
combined with the clear information provided in the videos, allowed me to make swift progress and improve my
interviewing skills, so that by the time I went in for the four interview calls that I received ( Rice, Foster, UC Davis, and
Ke
nan Flagler)
, I was more than ready and managed to secure an excellent admit to Rice, with a scholarship of 60, 000
USD. I also received another admit from USC Marshall, with a scholarship of 30, 000 USD.

I was really very impressed with how Experts’ Global conducted my application process. I only took up Experts’ Global’s help for a single school but I did so under a serious time constraint. At the time when I approached Experts’ Global, there were only 15 days till my application had to be submitted. I was really anxious about making the deadline and was not sure if it would even be possible. I assumed that I would end up having to delay my application but Experts’ Global assured me that they could have everything ready in time and they delivered on their promise!
Experts’ Global follows a simple and straightforward process. Everything is broken down into milestones that the admission team and the applicant handle, together. The team I worked with was very efficient was always up to date and very punctual. They were very familiar with the application requirements and process and had some good advice on what types of student activities I could pursue once admitted. Personally, when we started working on the essay portion of the application, I was a little out of my depth. I had multiple ‘Brainstorming’ sessions with the team and understood how my background and my career goals could be combined with my reasons for enrolling in the program to form a “story” around my career and candidature. My mentor explained to me that applications that have a ‘story’ are more impressive and memorable than ones that are just fact based.
Thanks to my team’s excellent time management and hard work, my applications were ready to go well before the deadline. Despite the time crunch, we managed to put together an application worth the interview call.
Since Experts’ Global’s offers the option of taking guidance on all of the steps of the application process, they had a stringent interview training program but I did not take that up. I only had a couple of rounds of discussion, which were sufficient to clear up my interview related queries.
With this help, I was able to succeed in the interview and secure the admit I had been seeking.

Navigating MBA admissions is no easy matter
. This is a fact that I was well aware of, even before I
began my MBA journey.
So, in order to ensure that I made the right choices, I chose to
work with
the seasoned professionals at Experts’ Global.
Experts’ Global’s admissions consultants are very thorough on the varied types of MBA programs out there and their
admissions processes. They take a very no-nonsense approach to
their consultation, at no point in the process did my
admissions mentors sugar
coat their feedback. They were always very upfront about how my profile could be improved,
what programs would be the best fit for me, and how to best present my profile, in my essays.
This also extended to the
interview preparation, where my mentor condu
cted several rounds of mock interviews and then took me through what I needed to improve upon, point by point, in the feedback sessions.
At the same time, they were also very supportive and
had a very clear investment in getting me my admits.
I succeeded
in my efforts, thanks to Experts’ Global, securing admits to USC Marshall, with a scholarship of 30, 000 USD
and to Rice, with a scholarship of 60, 000 USD.

I got admitted to the PGP at ISB for the class of 2020.
I gave my gmat on 4/12/2018. I considered applying to ISB in R-2 for which the deadline was 15/12/18. But looking at the huge and demanding ISB application , i realized that i couldn't give my best shot in 10 days. But luckily ISB announced a R-3 on 10/12/18 for which the deadline was 15/1/19. This time i had more than a month with me and i started writing my essays. But when i read my own essays i felt that something was missing and that i wasn't carrying my thoughts onto paper powerfully and influentially. I sensed that my essays aren't communicating my story effectively. That is when i decided to seek external help and googled for mba consulting. I chanced upon experts global and gave them a call , still being unsure if i was doing the right thing. But the minute i spoke to them i sensed that i was in the right hands. I was assigned mentors (Aanchal Sharma, Devyani mehrotra) with whom i had extended discussions. The brainstorming sessions with Aanchal Mam over my work, hobbies, extra curriculars proved to be very productive. Finally my essays came up the way exactly i wanted them to be. After my application got short-listed a mock interview was conducted and i received valuable advice on the do's and dont's in the actual interview. Experts'global played a pivotal role in my selection and i take this oppurtunity to thank them for their priceless service!

Experts’ Global provides excellent MBA admissions consulting, which was a great help to me, throughout my entire admissions process. From school shortlisting to preparing for the interviews, Experts’ Global had somebody to help me with everything.
My admissions team at Experts’ Global was quite knowledgeable, about the various MBA programs, across the world. The team had a very keen understanding of which schools I would have the best chance with, given my profile, and which ones would be best for furthering my career goals. I initially went to Experts’ Global, intending to apply to eight schools but after they showed me just how wide the field was for me and just how fierce the competition would be, I chose to upgrade to 11 schools.
After the profile analysis and school shortlisting, my essay writing mentor had a brainstorming session, with me, to identify the strong thematic elements in my profile and work out how to compile my personal history, professional history and my career goals, into one narrative that would present a good picture of my candidature, to the admissions committee. This added a lot of dimension to my essays, making them seem more vibrant and alive, instead of just an extension of the resume.
The entire admissions process is handled very systematically, at Experts’ Global. The admissions mentors take it as a series of milestones. Part of the milestones are, of course, handled by the applicant and the rest, by the mentors. All of the milestones are plotted on a detailed planner. The admissions team that I worked with was always very prompt, making sure that each task was completed and the planner updated, well before the deadline. My team was also very clear in their communications; they made sure to get all the information that they needed from me, at every stage, in one go, and share in among all concerned parties, so that there was no need of repetitive communications.
Out of the 11 schools that I applied to, I received interview calls from Rice, Kelley, Olin, ISB, and Tepper. I was also waitlisted at Foster. Even before I had received these calls, however, I had begun working with one of Experts’ Global’s interview mentors, to prepare for my admissions interviews. Thanks to that preparation, I received four excellent admits from Kelly, Rice (USD 58,000 scholarship), Tepper (USD 10000 annual scholarship), and ISB. Out of these four, I chose to study at Tepper.
Experts’ Global was a great boon to me, in my MBA admissions and I would definitely go to them, if I had to do the process, over again.

Product Experts' Global ISB Admissions Consulting
Consultant Experts' Global Apps Team
I took up Experts’ Global’s admissions consulting for 11 schools, one of which was ISB. While my admissions team was very knowledgeable about the many different types of MBA programs, all over the world, they were especially knowledgeable about the ISB. They perfectly understood the nuances of the admissions process, and were well aware of how to present my profile, through ISB’s essay questions.
They did so by working with me to identify the strong thematic elements in my profile and work out how to put together my personal and professional histories, as well as my career goals into one narrative that would present the best possible picture of my candidature. I was particularly impressed that they were able to do so with the ISB essays, which don’t offer as much opportunity to do so, since there are usually only two of them.
The entire process was very systematic, my mentors took it as a series of milestones, all carefully plotted on a detailed planner. The admissions team made sure that all communications were very clear, they made sure to get all the information that they needed from me, at every stage, in one go, and share in among all concerned parties, so that there was no need of repetitive communications. So, every task was completed well before its deadline and updated on the planner.
Thanks to Experts’ Global’s guidance, I received an interview call from ISB. Since ISB places a lot of emphasis on the interviews, I am grateful that Experts’ Global’s interview prep is also very well developed. With their guidance on my interviews, I was easily able to clear the ISB interview and secure my admit. Of course, out of the four admits that I got, I chose to go to Tepper, rather than ISB but I am still very impressed by how Experts’ Global handled this particular admissions process.
Hi Murtuza,
Thanks for your generous words.
We have had a very special association indeed and it is great to know that our efforts bore fruit. We truly enjoyed the process of working with you, as well.
Hope to remain in touch! :)

Words cannot express my gratitude towards Experts’ Global. There is no way that I would have been able to secure the admits that I did, without their guidance. The MBA admission process is a lot more intensive and complex, than I had initially given it credit for. There is a great deal of nuance that is not entirely clear at the outset.
That is why I am very grateful that I found Experts’ Global. This firm is the most reliable, when it comes to MBA admissions, it is certainly the most comprehensive. Experts’ Global provides guidance for every part of the admissions process. That includes everything from the most basic step of profile analysis, tricky things like getting profile letters, highly nuanced tasks like essay writing and interview prep, and even any off-beat requirements that the schools might have.
Experts’ Global’s consultancy is not only wide ranging but also in-depth. The admissions team that I worked with had a very thorough understanding of how to go about applying to MBA programs. They also had a great wealth of information on the various MBA programs, across the world and which would suit which type of profile best, namely mine. They also took a very frank, realistic, and clear approach to analyzing my profile. These factors, combined, made them excellent at helping me shortlist schools. They made sure to keep in mind all relevant details, while doing so, preferred geography, career goals, scholarship opportunities, overall budget, and duration of the program. They also made sure to slot the schools into three distinct categories, dream, practical, and safe.
Experts’ Global’s general approach is very scientific and geared towards streamlining complicated processes and making them easy to understand. To that end, they break down the entire application process, into a series of milestones. These milestones were very neatly divided between me and the team, who were very good at keeping track of tasks and keeping deadlines. This plan allowed me to take the complicated process, one step at a time, which made sure that it did not get out of control.
They also did a lot to demystify the essay writing, for me. They very clearly explained to me what goes into a good MBA admission essay. Mainly, that the essay should carry a personal touch. They need to give the admissions committee a sense of who you are as a person, in addition to highlighting your professional accomplishments. My team brainstormed with me to identify the major themes of my background, present situation, and future goals, to form a compelling narrative. It is these narratives that provide real depth to an admissions essay and make sure that they stick out, to the committee.
In fact, Experts’ Global really put a lot of effort into making sure that I fully understood the admissions processes. They have a lot of resources for this, including a series of detailed video lectures.
They also have video lectures for their admission training, which I was also very impressed by. In fact, I will be writing a separate testimonial focusing on it.
With Experts’ Global’s help, I was able to secure interview calls from Tepper, HEC Paris, Questrom, IE Spain, Kelley, IIM A, and IIM C. Out of these I secured admission to IIM C, HEC Paris, and Kelley. At HEC Paris and Kelley I even received scholarships, 15, 000 Euros and full coverage, respectively. I eventually settled on Kelley.
If you are serious about MBA admissions, you would be hard pressed to find anyone who is more reliable.

I worked with Experts’ Global for my application to ISB, among a number of other schools, and let me tell you this, they really showed me that there is a lot more to B-school applications, than I realized. One can easily understand how to write a few essays that will present them favorably to an admissions committee but that is not all that the process is about. It is a chance to really understand your career, so far, and where to take it. In fact, this is necessary for a good, strong application.
This is where Experts’ Global really helped me. My mentors worked with me, tirelessly, to help me understand my own profile and determine where and when to apply, for the best shot at the application. In fact, they even helped me understand if pursuing an MBA was the right choice for me or not. This level of discussion is very much out of scope for most consulting firms but Experts’ Global goes not just an extra mile but an extra ten miles.
They have a very keen understanding of the nuances of various MBA programs, all over the world. Of course, since ISB is very popular among Indian MBA aspirants, they are particularly familiar with it. Experts’ Global understood the exact factors that the ISB admission committee would look for and helped me understand how to present my profile to them. They did this by using their thorough understanding of my profile to pick out certain strong themes that could be used to build “a story” to be conveyed, through my essays. The purpose of building this story was to make my essays more personal and to give the committee a stronger feel of who I was, as a candidate.
The “story” was also a big help, in my interviews, which Experts’ Global also provided me with a lot of training on. They have a really well thought out interview prep that involves a lot of mock interviews, all of which were tailored to fit my strengths and weaknesses and the viewpoints of the schools. This was especially true for ISB, as they place a lot of emphasis on the interviews. My mentor determined my strengths and weaknesses and then having me fill out an extensive questionnaire that included the most frequently asked interview questions.
The overall attitude of Experts’ Global is very refreshing, when compared to the rest of the MBA admissions field. I doubt that most other firms would have invested so much time and effort into helping me understand my profile and my way forward.
Thanks to Experts’ Global, I secured admission to ISB, Marshall, Olin, Rotman, Wisconsin Madison, Purdue, and Boston University. I eventually chose to attend Wisconsin, for a variety of reasons, in addition to the full scholarship that they offered me.
Hi Pradeep,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
