Well I have not yet finished the course. I am doing simultaneously with quant. The concepts & steps to solve SC are very good & for a non native student like me these steps have helped a lot. I am focusing more on the understanding the meaning of the original sentence & started spending 60% of my time on option A and that is helping me a lot in improving.
I have attended the first classes for CR. Pre thinking is very helpful for solving CR.
Basic concepts are explained in detail & are very easy to understand.
Classes are very structured & all the doubts are cleared at same instant.

So I am writing this review after taking gmat twice and going through every good course that is available for verbal.
Nothing works like EGMAT! Among the rest, by far Manhattan was the best when it came to concepts but once I started attempting questions with thorough understanding of concepts, I got half of the questions wrong. I had an accuracy of 60% but after finishing egmat, official questions were a breeze. Improved my accuracy to 80% with just concepts and no practice.
EGMAT is the not only the best out there for non natives but also for the natives!!
By the end of the Verbal Live course, I stopped freaking out and felt so much more confidant. I was in absolute control while attempting questions.
Although I was hesitant to spend on this course after spending thousands on most materials, the reviews won me over and indeed it was worth the extra spend. Every penny. I only wish I had done a little bit of research and taken this course first.
Anywho, if you are reading my review, think no more. Just go ahead with it. It comes from someone who is an average student, who studied day and night with materials from Manhatttan, Jamboree, Princeton review and Powerscore. I was scoring around 26-29 after all the other materials and now I am at 35-38 range with egmat :)
I think e-Gmat is the best online preparation for Gmat with really reasonable price, infact I have taken princeton review classroom prep and I would still recommend egmat. I was never the online classes person, I mean I have some serious ADD, online classes were risky, but egmat honestly kept me more engaged than one on one personal sessions with Princeton review!! The design, structure, delivery, curriculum and supporting materials (which include Mocks, CATs, Forums, Online sessions and workshops) are perfect and have made the learning experience very effective for me. The teaching is clear and the language is very comprehensible. The practice files and queues are very useful to apply what I have learned.
The best Quant prep I have ever come across. Before e-Gmat Quant, I used several prep materials ( Books and online) including Kaplan, MGMAT and Princeton Review. The only one helped me during that period was MGMAT, but my score was around 40-41 and I couldn't improve it. But with e-Gmat I have noticed a big different in my performance. I wish I purchased egmat right at the beginning.
I've been using the e-GMAT course for a few months now. I have to say I'm rather impressed. The course seems tailored to Indians (which is good for some, bad for others) so it was really useful for me. I had tried to read the MGMAT sentence correction book but didn't find it nearly as useful. I can honestly say if you do the coursework sincerely and try to maintain an error log of things you're doing wrong, you WILL improve your score dramatically and also do it with much less effort than you'd have to put in via self study.
I have had a bad time preparing for GMAT because no mater what I have done nothing has helped.I came across Egmat and enrolled after a free live session and I don't regret my decision .. In fact i have drastically improved in verbal and many quant topics.. on the second test day however I scored badly ,because ....
I was anxious nervous lost my cool and messed up bad ..
I believe i still havent given my best ...Nope 530 is not my best .. its not even close to my worst .. I am giving it again and will make it happen...
Egmat course has helped fill a lot of gaps in basic understanding of tackling questions and I have a much clear and defined process/approach which is actually showing when i take mocks now .. I hope to keep this high tide and sail through the real GMAT...

e-GMAT live prep GMAT preparation course, especially sc course is comprehensive, participatory and structured. I am a non native speaker. Although my vocabulary and grammar were strong,I was unable to handle sc and many a time confused between two options, and hence got delayed.I lacked clarity why I should eliminate one and pick the other. Here, e-Gmat taught me to see through clauses/meaning, and simplify and structure my approach to deal clearly and hence, speedily.
In cr, pre-thinking initially looked dull. Later, with practice, it steers clear and quick to correct answer.
Throughout, Verbal live prep shall keep you engaged, activated and growing. Live sessions are magic moments: very nice and interactive .Scintillating responses from different participants including you, across the globe is a feast to the eye, and shall keep you curious all along.
Thanks a lot Rajat,Payal and other e-GMAT team.
I am Non native English speaker. I have tried various sources for my verbal prep and tried to remember a number of rules without understanding the concepts, just scoring around V19.
I came across e-gmat in gmat club and attended free webinar on sc. After the class I got some hope that I can improve, so I went all in with e-gmat live prep course.
Concept files are excellent with simple expels to understand the concepts. I learned more than half of the verbal concepts for the first time on e-gmat platform. Live class great to learn the application of the concepts learned. I am more confident now than I was at the beginning of my prep. I highly recommend this course, especially, for those who need to build up their concepts from scratch.
Thanks E-gmat for your support in building up my arsenal to face gmat exam.
I am from an Engineering background, so I quite comfortable with quant.
e-gmat quant concepts files are very good and helped me to quickly refresh my conceptual knowledge in gmat tested areas. But my practice scores are around 46.
To reach my target score 50, I have attended Live prep sessions. Chaitanya and Japinder are great and very patient in explaining each and every step of the process. live classes helped in fine tuning my prep, and most importantly helped me a lot in correcting my approach towards DS.
I highly recommend to all. If you want to give a try there are some free concepts files and 1 free live session on number properties.
I have been working for nearly 7 years and one day decided to go for an executive MBA. So, during my search for ex mba I learnt that I need a GMAT score for application. So, I started to solve GMAT questions online. Since, I am an engineer quants section was not a big problem for me other than seeing how to approach data sufficiency questions. But, the real devil was verbal. I had no clue what to do with difficult CR questions and no idea about how to approach SC and RC. Totally bemused I started searching on web about GMAT study material and luckily find out about e gmat. I read their reviews which were generally very good and e gmat was also very cost effective. So, I subscribed e -gmat and started taking their lessons. The way e gmat describe approach to solve SC is brilliant. Suddenly it became all easy to understand the questions and what to look into it. Same goes with CR and RC which introduced me to pre thinking which changed my way of solving the RC and CR questions. In all it was a wonderful learning experience and I recommend all the non natives to see egmat's free webinars and decide for themselves which course to go for.
I took my first GMAT attempt on September 14th 2015 and scored 640[Q48, V31].
e-GMAT Verbal Live Prep was of great help in achieving the result.
Following features of the live prep really helped me:
Live discussion of problems:
The instructor will take a problem and will explain every stage of the approach- right from reading the sentence to marking the right answer.
Ask a question on the spot:
A user can ask the question at any time during the discussion. It really helped me to get my doubts quickly resolved.
Sharing the recording of the live sessions:
This feature was really helpful in cases in which I missed the live session due to my personal commitments.
The step by step approach was really helpful in solving the problems within time limits.
In the end i would like to thanks e-GMAT Verbal Live Prep team for their constant support.
Regards,
Neetu
