Initially, I joined as a guest and I was given access to quant live prep trial to get an insight of the course structure. I am currently preparing for GMAT and have enrolled in e-gmat, Quant live prep course. I thought, I was good at math. But. I was wrong. e-gmat quant live prep opened my eyes. I realised quickly that I had lack of understanding of math fundamental.
Most of the course module checks your ability and tells you if you need to review the concept. Post assessment quiz assess the understanding of the module. e-gmat structured approach, study plan and the clarity with which all the fundamentals are taught is amazing and it has helped me to understand math fundamental a lot.
The live session is one of the best features of the course. You can review the recording if you have missed the live session. I have seen e-gmat updating its course content. Someone from e-gmat team always there to help you out if you have any query.

As an Indian Engineer giving the GMAT I was having mixed feelings about the exam. On one hand, I knew that Quant would be easier for me than most, whereas Verbal would be much tougher. There was also the additional pressure to score well since most of my peers would have scores well above the median.
As expected, I quickly picked up Quant never dipping below Q47. But Verbal was giving me trouble with my score hovering around V38. I knew that I needed help. I was introduced to e-GMAT through reviews submitted by my peers.
Initially, I attended one of Rajat’s seminar’s on Critical Reasoning. By the end of the webinar, I was totally impressed with his teaching methodology and insight while answering students’ queries. As the icing on the cake, e-GMAT’s pre-thinking method helped me solve almost every CR problem in 45 seconds. Even after crossing questions of 700+ difficulties, I found that pre-thinking helped me avoid the obvious traps set by the test.
After joining, I found e-GMAT’s question bank to be an invaluable tool providing the right mix of questions and testing all the right concepts.
e-GMAT is an excellent all round package – with one caveat. You need to have the self-discipline to practice what Rajat tells you and do your exercises. So as long as you’re self-driven and willing to put in the work, I’d say go with it.

eGMAT's Quant Scholarium

I had the opportunity to try the Quant Scholaranium Beta version. At first I had no expectation out of these questions. But boy was I in for a surprise. The questions were of really good quality with a good level of difficulty. I found them to be more GMAT-like than the questions of a lot of other GMAT-Prep providers. Note that these questions are not for the faint hearted. Pick this course up only if you are already on the Q49 level but still want more. The 2nd best thing about Quant Scholarium is the explanations for the questions. They are not only logical but they also give you different ways to solve each questions. I used to even go through questions that I had got correct just to find out a more time efficient way of solving the question. The UI is pretty neat and they have done a good job by keeping tags for various topics, difficulty level and type of questions (PS/DS). This enabled me to target my preparation. I picked up the topics that I found difficult first and then worked my way down. The quantity of questions are good (711 questions and approx. 250 of them are categorized as hard) and should be more than enough practice for the exam. The option to flag a question is a plus. The 3rd best thing about Quant Scholarium is the analytics which is by far the best that I have seen. The Dashboard and the Skill Data tab gives some pretty neat analytics which help identify specific weak areas. The landing page calculates and displays various statistics that helped me to identify my weak areas. So, for example, I found out that while I was pretty good with Probability, I needed to work on Permutations and Combinations. The Attempts tab helped me keep track of my performance and gave me a “grade” of sorts (weighted average) of my performance.
All in all I am pretty satisfied with eGMAT’s quant scholarium. This course came at the right time and now I am more confident of “breaking” the Q49 plateau.

Very extensive and structured approach to GMAT Verbal. Recommended for non natives, and for natives who are looking for a theoretical/structured approach to SC/CR/RC

I found the CR course to be helpful as there are a number of 'drills' per concept, enabling one to develop good 'thinking habits'. I would recommend the CR course for those who are beginning their studies.

Verbal Scholaranium is excellent as the questions are tough, explanations logical, and presentations clear. Furthermore, the explanations are provided in such a way that they are an extension of the course concepts - opposed to a short and brief summary of 'some' errors that many other test prep companies choose to provide.

Highly recommended

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who finds verbal section difficult.

I have witnessed a reasonable increase in my mocks score and a noticable decrease in my average response time of SC questions.

I haven't had access to the quant section so I don't have any reviews on that section.

I scored 26 in verbal in my last attemp. Currently, I have been scoring 36-40 in the official mocks. I am appearing for the GMAT later this month and will then write another review on my performance.

Their methodolgy is systematic which gives you great confidence in answering the questions.

Thank you very much e-GMAT team.

Verbal material brings a lot of structure to prep!

Hello all,

I am hoping this review would help some people decide on whether they want to pursue this online course for their GMAT prep.

I have had a long and ardous journey with the GMAT exam. I have had several (failed) attempts at conquering the >700 score but was only able to hit that mark after signing up for the e-GMAT Verbal Live Prep course.

The course helped me for multiple reasons:
1) It added so much structure to my SC preparation. In the past, I have used Manhattan's guide for SC but that really didn't help much. The reason why e-GMAT's material worked for me is because it has quizzes to test your learning after each lesson/skill. Every skill is tested before you can convince yourself to move on to the next. These regular checkpoints are crucial to address knowledge gaps. I felt that I eased through SC questions in the actual test because of this advantage. This approach obviously works for CR too. Not so much for RC, which just requires sheer, intensive practice and sufficient reading.

2) It also gave me a framework to eliminate wrong answers in CR. And that was half the battle won. The remaining half was really about applying consistent logic.

3) The live sessions connected to each lesson are great to add perspective to your learning progress. In these live sessions, if your performance in the questions provided is below the average of the class, then obviously you are doing something wrong that needs to be addressed. The tutors help you course-correct through these sessions. I liked these sessions and the recordings are available after the session for you to re-visit in the future.

4) Scholaranium is amazing. Period. Practice is really what gets you from Point A to Point B (better place to be). I analysed every ability quiz that is included in Scholaranium to figure out my weaknesses and develop a plan. Scholaranium is a great feature to enable this.

5) The Verbal workshop is pretty cool too. It is a tough test that gives you a reality check on your preparation end-to-end (CR, RC, SC). You can even benchmark yourself against your cohort to give you an idea of how good or bad you are. Of course, the GMAT is a test where you are against the GMAT. You aren't competing against the crowd. But however, this benchmarking helped me build some confidence.

Overall, great course. I would highly recommend it.

I was having trouble with my verbal before, the e-gmat is awesome and a must for any person and after the course i saw 8 point jump on my verbal score .
the section on pronoun , modifier and subject verb error are awesome.
The SC section inperticular carries a great details of all the sections with examples and practice questions with the score which is really helpful.
one should really completed the section and see the improvement .do not pace yourself with the fundamentals just understand them fully and then focus on the OG and other official material and then try with the exam and review it throughly .

Before Signing for E-GMAT, I was bit confused initially about the on - demand Course, whether my queries will be answered, how will be the responses to my queries whether the content will be able to really help me understand the course and improve my score.
Moreover, Before Attending E GMAT, I Attended a classroom program in Hyderabad, Which did nothing to my confidence and I was more or less at the same place with nothing gained from that program. But E-GMAT has done wonders to my confidence just because they Made Sentence correction more qualitative by presenting the In depth explanation of Many concepts, To Name few of them
• How Ed modifiers are formed
• Relative Pronoun Modifier Modifying Previous Noun or far away Noun
I think they are available for free, guys if you just read them once , these article will change the way you approach these types of question. Before this I have read Manhattan SC guide, Princeton Verbal books But the way concept is present in E Gmat is Phenomenal, They don't just tell you the concept but they detail it to the extent that you feel comfortable and Interesting.
Enough About the SC but the way CR and RC is explained in their verbal online course is also very good. They try to channelize your thinking process towards the correct and with more & more practise answers start becoming oblivious for CR and SC Questions
I Would Definitely Recommend E GMAT Verbal Online Course to anyone who is non native and looking to improve his GMAT score.
Thanks
Mohit

After 2 unsuccessful attempts at crossing the 700 score mark.I scored V31 and V32 in my previous attempts. I decided to take a course for Verbal. But with the plethora of courses available I wasn't able to make up my mind regarding the courses.

I started self preperation as i wasn't able to decide. I leveraged GMAT club to look for answers to my queries. Although multiple users share their opinions about the answers, I found multiple contradictions in the way they applied rules .Apart from that this wasn't helping me with one of my majors concerns - Time Management.

However, I encountered explanations and articles from E-Gmat on GMAT Club. The explanations were not only structured but also put down with multiple examples. This greatly helped me understand the concepts with clarity. I was very impressed with the small sample of their teaching methodology.

I decided to enroll myself for the course after a month of self-preperation.

I loved e-gmat's teaching methodology. First we are explained the basic concepts and process of solving quetsions. Then we take a few questions to test our understanding. Then we are taken deeper into each question type and specific process to solve them. We are asked to test our understading at each stage of learning. This helped me ensure that I had a good understading of the concepts before moving on. At the end of each course we can take 5 miscelaneous assessment test with great quality of questions.

I was also able to pace myself as per my convinience as the entire course is online and provides multiple opportunities to attend the live sessions as well. The live sessions in particular were greatly helpful. They gave the opportunity to work on questions with an experts and helped to improve understanding.

But i have not come to best part of the course yet. THE SCHOLARANIUM and THE E-GMAT FORUM. Scholaranium provides over 600 questions with varied difficulty levels. We can take them either as timed sectional tests or as quizzes. Each test is scored and helps to keep track of our progress.

The E-GMAT Forum is also a great place to resolve any queries you may. Although the time for response may vary from 1 to 4 days, the responses are effective. Moreover, most of our queries are already answered.

One catch regarding the forum is that, we are only allowed to ask queries regarding official questions or E-GMAT questions. But in my experience, this methodology not only ensure that we solve reliable questions but also builds our faith in the E-GMAT process.

I was also given access to 5 "800 score tests" and "all gmat club tests". These two features along with Scholaranium and official guides gave me a huge question bank to apply and perfect the E-GMAT process. And by perfecting the process i was able to manage my time efficiently. In my previous attempts i was able to attempt only about 32 questions in the verbal section but by applying the E-GMAT process i was able to manage my time better and answer questions with greater confidence. I attempted 40 questions in the GMAT and guessed only 1 questions.

I definitely recommend E-GMAT to anyone looking to improve their Verbal score. I believe the course helped me overachieve with a 10 point increment in my verbal score and 1 point increment in my quant score (thanks to the gmat club tests).

E Gmat provides you with many useful strategies to get more than 700 on the exam. Since I started studying with E Gmat, I am recommending it to all my friends. E gmat provides you with tough questions that let you learn the concepts of the real exam. Also, they give you detailed solutions of the official questions. For that reason, you can be sure that you will learn the concepts. Trust me, I have tried to study with other Gmat Prep Softwares, however, no one explains you the concepts as good as E Gmat does. I consider that E gmat is the best option for Non Natives Speakers.
