Commited and helpful

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I learned about Admissionado from a friend that used their services last year. Admissionado helped him get admitted at the MIT and he referred to their services as the best cost-value consultants in the market.

I got in touch with Admissionado and they offered me a free consultant call with Marcela, one of their advisors graduated from Harvard. Marcela turned out to be a really nice and helpful consultant. I decided to buy the Junior Deluxe package.

Marcela helped me applying to 4 full time MBAs in top-10 schools... In about 2 months! I'm 32 years old, well above the average; my GMAT was 720 and my GPA 3.3. Marcela's support throughout the process was consistent and helpful; just what I needed given the time constraint. She made me work harder than I had expected, asking the proper questions in order to better develop my essays and my CV. She always kept pushy and committed to the answer time. In the end I managed to build 4 cohesive and competitive applications that made the best out of my traits and experiences. I got called to interview by 2 out of 4 schools and got waitlisted in another one prior to interview. In the end I got admitted in Booth!! I would definitely recommend Marcela as a great advisor.

Review for Admissionado - Shana Cohen

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I liked working with Admissionado team. They have always been very responsive and ensured that I deliver to the best of abilities throughout the process. Even though the complete admission process is very stressful, but Shana (my consultant) ensured that I don't let that stress affect my judgment. She knows what she was doing and was always there for me to give me the right advice. This is the first time I was going through this experience, and I had a lot of reservations before hiring admissionado. But they completely met my expectations and helped me prepare my applications for 3 schools- Yale, Kellogg, Fuqua. I would recommend everyone to consider them.

Awesome experience with Stefanie and Admissionado

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Stefanie is the greatest gift that I have received this year. She is friendly, smart, endlessly patient and knows everything about all things MBA. I'm a nontraditional business school applicant with a decent but below-average-for-top-20 GMAT score, aspiring for the top 20 while anxiously and rather cluelessly navigating the field. I am a really tough (read: annoying) client who asks a million questions and Stefanie always responded remarkably quickly to all of my wacky queries, from volunteering questions to odd networking happenings. Even though we worked together on Stern specifically, she always answered my countless questions with a cheerful attitude, including a ton of questions about other schools. She is a treasure trove of knowledge. And her ability to answer such a broad range of questions definitely made the process a lot less stressful and speaks for her expertise. She's a problem-solver, a therapist, and an MBA superstar all wrapped in one.

I came in not knowing much about the MBA application process and thought that the Discovery package was an excellent way to narrow down schools, pinpoint strengths and weaknesses, and create an Action Plan to move forward. Of course, you can say that one can do these things on their own (and I felt that way too at first). But Stefanie helped me translate key components of my HR/law job into MBA-digestible strengths. She helped me realize that certain things that I was taking for granted at work could turn me into a unique and desirable candidate. Later, these gold nuggets came handy at my interviews. In other words, Stefanie provided an invaluable third-party perspective. She also helped me pick the MBA programs that were best suited to my strengths and goals - something I deeply struggled with.

I liked her so much after the initial call that I signed up for Admissionado's (one school) essay and resume help. And I'm completely immune to marketing gimmicks - this was all thanks to Stefanie's stellar performance! As a former lit major, I thought I could pop the essays out all on my own but Admissionado was very insightful in guiding my essays in the right direction (but never writing them - that's your job!). They know the target audience. They know what skills and experiences would make you a good candidate and how to gracefully relate the missing gaps in your knowledge/reasons you want an MBA.

I must also note that Admissionado's entire team is incredible. I also worked a lot with Claudia, who is of course very knowledgeable about the MBA world and, like Stefanie, supported my journey from day one. I've had consultations with several consulting agencies and some of them try to mold you into a boiler plate candidate that you're not. One of them told me that I had no chance at a top 20 school. But Stefanie believed in my success and made sure that my work experience resonated with adcom while carefully preserving the unique aspects of my background. In the end, I got into all three schools I applied to (Stern, Booth and Fuqua with scholarship). And the one time I had an issue, it was resolved before I could blink an eye.

In short, Stefanie is a hard-working champion for her clients. I am so grateful to have had her on my team! If this reads like a love letter to her, it's because THAT's how fantastic she is. I'd highly recommend her and the Admissionado team to anyone struggling with any aspect of the admissions process.

Great Team Helped Me Get Admitted

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I chose to hire an admissions consultant because I didn't want to risk the chance of having to reapply and didn't trust myself to be able to put my best application together alone. Truthfully, my main deciding factor in selecting Admissionado was their price point. In comparison to other services, they were by far the most reasonably priced and I even received a discount on the Junior Deluxe package. Definitely be aware that the lesser price does not mean lesser service. From the very start when I worked with Claudia, she was super friendly and helpful and was there for any questions I had. The whole team has the same vibe that they portray on their website being an easy-going, fun, caring group of people. The majority of my interaction however came with Julie and she was the one with whom I conducted my initial phone call and who worked with me on my essays. She helped me tremendously right from the start on our phone convo in helping me understand exactly what I could get out of an MBA, drawing out my reasons why my short/long term goals, and how to best articulate my story. From there I returned to her a survey (which is critical so I recommend you spend a lot of time answering completely) and she put together my Action Plan which was basically my road map for my entire application. She helped me pick out my best stories, strengths, and weaknesses and was very patient with me on revising my essays multiple times. She kept trying to dig deeper and deeper to get the best info out of me and into my essays, and she phrased questions to me that really made me think. Julie was always positive, encouraging, helpful, and prompt. It was a stress-free process to communicate with her and use her revisions and notes to develop a polished essay. In the end, I was accepted to UCLA which was the school we had worked on together, so mission accomplished. Admissionado also provided tons of published material on resumes, application tips, essay help, etc. which I used extensively. If you want a streamlined approach from a consultant to help align your best possible story and nail your essays then the Junior Deluxe package from Admissionado can't be beat.

Successful snipershot with Admissionado

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

My brother-in-law advised me to reach out to Admissionado consultants and use the free consultation call to reconfirm my application strategy.

During the call with Marcela, I was given very realistic expectations regarding the chance to get accepted to certain schools taking into account my candidate profile and stats, including the age of 30+ that is way above the average age of applicants. In addition, Marcela was happy to give me a high level review of my ready-to-submit essays.

As a result of the call, I reconsidered my approach and decided to focus and snipershot; apply to only one school that was my #1 choice, INSEAD.

Admissionado was also very flexible with creating a customized package of services for me. I was given a certain discount for the Junior Deluxe package and used the "saved" funds to include additional CV review service into my package.

I really enjoyed personal involvement of my consultant, the process and the speed with which we proceeded through INSEAD "beast" application (3 motivation and 4 job essays).I was very happy that consultants did not stick to formal 72-hours turn around and came back with recommendations earlier whenever it was possible. I thank the rest of Admissionado team, who helped Marcela to review my application and essays to have a 360-review of my story.

If you're now in the similar situation, looking for a consultant to help shape up your MBA application, my advise is to fill out their really creative questionnaire and do the one hour consultation. I am very certain that even one hour talk with consultants will make a substantial impact on how you will approach your application. However, if you continue your engagement with Admissionado, I guarantee that entire team will be there for you to bring all your best and show in the most beneficial way in the application.

On separate note, I would like to thank Claudia for her patience while waiting for my long-promised review!

It is less than two months before I start my MBA with INSEAD in Fontainebleau!

Admissionado is the best!!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I made the decision to work with Admissionado based on very positive reviews from colleagues who had worked with them in past years through their own MBA admissions process, and am very glad that I had them as a resource during the stressful process of applying to schools. I worked with John DC Miles, who was able to help me piece my application story together - a critical piece to my success as an applicant to both Fuqua and Tuck. During my initial phone call with John, he spent over an hour on the phone with me, listening to me discuss my work experience and all of the seemingly minute aspects of who I am and what I have accomplished. He then put it together into a comprehensive action plan, which I was able to use throughout my essay writing and even interview preparation process. In addition to a comprehensive action plan, John and the Admissionado team also provided valuable essay advice, in addition to interview prep, which allowed me to go into my Fuqua interview with confidence. Although my GRE score wasn't particularly notable, John was both honest and encouraging as I voiced my stresses and concerns to him about my candidacy; he helped me, through many impromptu phone check-ins and email exchanges, to articulate and believe in the best aspects of myself, giving me confidence to know that I was presenting the best version of myself to the AdComm. I have been accepted early action to Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, and can't thank John and the Admissionado team enough for being a part of my success!

Admissionado Review

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by gmat club tests [?]

I was referred to Admissionado by a co-worker who told me about their Discovery Package. This packaged includes being matched with a consultant who helps shape your narrative, and then creates a personalized action plan. My grades and scores were good but I was really struggling with articulating a compelling case for why I needed an MBA. Uyen helped me realize the path I was thinking of writing about didn't make any sense, and together we developed a great story. I wanted her to help me with translating this into my essays, so I bought the Junior Deluxe package for HBS and CBS. While I have some regrets spending money on HBS as I knew the chances were slim, the work we did with HBS also helped my CBS essays which were successful! Overall, Uyen and the Admissionado team were very supportive and guided me through the process, including frantic late night emails when my recommender submitted with the wrong school name. They do take 2-3 days to get drafts back to you, but that helped me stick to a schedule of making sure I turned around my rewrites quickly. I also hired them late in the game so I would recommend starting earlier. Thanks again!

Admissionado Juior Delux - Excellent and professional

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I applied for CBS, MIT and Wharton in Round 1 with the help from Admissionado. I was admitted into CBS MBA class of 2020 Fall. I received the acceptance call only two days after the interview. The entire application process of CBS took less than a month, from submission to acceptance call. Can't tell how lucky and thrilled I feel to get an offer so early, when ppl around may be still working on their essays or waiting for interview invites. CBS is my #1 choice and I am still super excited to be joining CBS next year.

I think my stats are good (GPA 3.73, top 1%, GMAT 740), but my weakness is that I only have less than 3 years' work experience by now. I worked in Big 4 as an auditor for the first two years, so it was actually difficult to differentiate myself from the pool. Admissionado played a significant part in my application, especially for resume/essays reviews. Their suggestions on LoR were also helpful and straight to the point. I really really appeciate that Marcela, my consultant, gave me encouraging feedbacks when we had the initial call. She gave me much more confidence targeting at the M7 schools in R1. I'd also like to thank Claudia and Lauren. They are very very professional, helpful and encouraging in the entire process.

With prior experience in applying for Master programs at B-schools, I knew that finding a experienced, professional and responsible consultant would be extremely important for MBA application. That's why I chose Admissionado after spending substantial amount of time comparing the services of different consultants. I decided to go with Admissionado because I felt the passion of the team, the professionalism of their posts on different websites like GmatClubs, Chasedream and P&Qs.

I had no difficulty in drafting the resume/essays, so I chose the Junior Deluxe. I'd say the email communication with consultant will be more than enough. They are highly reponsible and will respond to your email very quickly. Regaring the essays, there are 4 rounds of edits. They are extremly helpful in that they really know the requirements/preferences of each program and will put you in the right direction at the very beginning.

I don't know my results for MIT and Wharton yet, but based on my succesful experience getting into CBS, I strongly recommend Admissionado. That being said, the applicant should also be highly committed to his own application. Remember that no one else will be more responsbile for your application than yourself.

Admissionado Junior Deluxe

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Apart from the personal profile and goal guidance, essay assistance and letter of recommendation support, something that really helped me was the interview preparation and mock interview.
First, Mark helped me identify which were my best stories and how to analyse them under the STAR approach. This helped me shape my top professional achievements and mistakes into stories that would highlight my strenghts, leadership capabilities and areas of improvement.
I didn't have much time to prepare for my mock interview, in which I felt I did pretty bad. However, Mark told me I had good stuff to work on, and pointed out which things I shouldn't waste much time on.
After only a few hours of practice I felt I was ready to face my first interviewer for MIT.
Although I felt I did much better on the following three interviews, I got admitted to all four schools for which I was interviewed!
I don't believe I would have had the same results if it weren't for Mark's help!

Admissionado Junior Deluxe : Excellent service

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

I liked Admissionado right from my first call for profile evaluation. My consultant was able to highlight strength and weakness in my resume and subsequently suggest focus areas for the application. Second step was the brainstorming session, in which he encouraged me to think about everything I have accomplished since my undergraduate education, hence ensuring I do not overlook any significant resume point. Next, the team helped me create a comprehensive summary document and order my resume points in order of their impact. The summary document proved very helpful while writing the essays.
During the essay editing phase, I observed that even though it is mentioned on their website that they will edit the essays 4 times only, my consultant and essay reviewing team were committed to help me achieve the best draft, no matter how many questions/edits I needed. Secondly, they adhered to their committed 72-hour timeline and in fact almost always responded much faster (within 24-48 hours). Their attitude was always positive and encouraging, which went a long way to ensure I enjoyed the whole process.
In conclusion, from my personal experience I found their brainstorming session extremely insightful and essay editing process well-structured and personal. Therefore, I would recommend prospective applicants to strongly consider Admissionado for MBA application process.
