I worked with Julie and Claudia for a 3-school package. It was money down the drain. First, they started with a half-hearted intro call and sent me a questionnaire. They copy pasted my answers and called it my "action plan". Next, for all the essay editing, they just put 'Why?' and 'How?' after every paragraph and had no good content to suggest. My consultant didn't even bother to brainstorm essay content before beginning with a new school and gave no personal touch to my stories.

Besides general essay editing, they don't help much. Even when I asked about general school stuff via emails, they straight away refused to help without additional dollars. Many times, I used to get emails that I should take rush service for $250. It was very frustrating that they were more focused on selling more services than concentrating on improving my work.

Also, I wouldn't trust Admissionado's 5-star reviews on GMAT club. Most of them would turn out to be paid reviews. They also offered me a $100 discount on a service if I gave a positive review. I consulted with them on 3 schools - dinged everywhere. I did 4 schools separately - got invites from all of them. I would suggest reconsidering partnering up with them if you are new to this whole MBA admissions process as things may seem to be going great, but the results would speak differently.

I discovered Admissionado through ApplicantLab and for me, it was love at first sight. I scrawled through all the content on the website and read all the reviews on GMAT Club. I signed up to have John as my consultant and after my initial call with him, I went ahead to pay for the Junior Deluxe. John is as humane as anyone can get. He kept believing in me even when I found it hard to do. He shared his own MBA journey with me which made me more at peace and he would get personal because he needed to explain an anecdote.

In the last application season, I applied to seven schools and I was subsequently rejected from all. For anyone thinking about hiring a consultant, I definitely and very strongly recommend Admissionado. Claudia is super helpful and replies promptly to any admin related question you may have. Their initial questionnaire is great because it gets you thinking about alllll the things you've ever achieved (even if you don't think it's relevant) - it's a great way to start brainstorming the essays.

Now coming to Mandy - she is AMAZING! I barely had any clue what I wanted to do after the MBA, but she managed to help me realise my aspirations and develop my story very organically. First things first. I purchased the Junior Deluxe Package, plus the resume, LOR support and interview support from A La Carte Services. In Round 1, I applied to LBS and Haas, and I received the offer from LBS and just finished the Haas's interview.

I am extremely pleased with my experience with the Admissionado team and I would recommend it and my consultant Doris Huang to every one who is seeking admission services! Here I want to organize my review by highlighting Admissionado's flexible packages, well-operated process, and insightful contents provided by my consultant.

1. Packages. Admissionado provides a set of very flexible services to choose from, which takes into account the diverse needs of applicants. Since I am not so much into unlimited phone call access, I chose the Junior Deluxe package. Also, to secure my application, I added resume, LOR and interview support from their A La Carte Services so that they could look at my application from a holistic view. Moreover, the prices are acceptable as well, compared to some firms charging insanely high prices for almost the same kind services. So I think you can always pick up the most suitable services that best fulfill your needs and budget.

2. Process. As a management consultant myself, in my work I am always trying to find the most efficient process to do things, and I have to say Admissionado's process is very well-designed and reliably operated, during which I could not find a single flaw. After I registered my info on their website, I was soon matched with my consultant Doris in just a few hours. In the complimentary call, Doris reviewed my profile and addressed both my strength and weakness in the profile, and some smart initiatives to position myself to stand out. Then the formal process started, including the client questionnaire and the strategy call at the beginning, then I got my action plan, a branding document guiding me through the following application process. When it comes to the essay/resume/LOR editing, they followed a very strict turnover time of 72 hours and my consultant and editing specialist usually returned the edited documents even more quickly than that! Working with Admissionado was the best decision I made throughout my application process.

For some background, I had applied to several schools during first round last year, managed to get an interview at one, but was ultimately rejected from all.

When I was applying, it seemed like every other applicant, current student, or alumnus I encountered had friends and/or family that had gone through the same process and were able to provide guidance on programs, advice on applications, and proofread essays. This was not the case for me. I contemplated getting a consultant at that time, but decided against it, as I was worried that it would make my application inauthentic. I went to every event I could to try to educate myself, but it’s one thing hearing “you need to know your story” and then actually knowing how to craft and relay your story. I struggled with this and had to face the fact that I needed help during my applications and, again, after my rejections.

I decided not to give up and to try again - this time with the help of a consultant. I contacted several companies for initial consultations and spent two weeks speaking with different representatives before finding Admissionado. I learned from my prior experience that interviewing was a weakness of mine and that I needed to be able to talk about my goals without stumbling. I think I was actually more nervous for my mock interview with John than my actual interviews! I'm happy to say my subsequent interviews went fabulously as a result.

I am now going to my dream school (with a scholarship!) and I could not be happier my decision to work with Admissionado.
